Thank you, Professor Oak! The words of encouragement are very much appreciated. So is the reminder about the Fae. We'll do our best to stay out of trouble with them while we conduct our research!
[Read: Sorey will try his best, but goodness knows they're either going to like him way too much or he'll make a wrong move.]

I would prefer my association with this Organization be kept quiet for the moment, as I'm also teaching at the local University. And considering what happened with our former associate Willow.
For the moment, I will not be announcing my general presence on this... Libra application.
That is all.

So I received a request from an app user to make a change to the Pokedex records.
They want "tandemaus" to be classified as a "mouse" rather than a "family" as it is currently.
I have no idea what any of that means so I thought I'd pass on the message.

Hello Everyone!
Hope everyone is doing great and keeping cool! I've been reading your mission reports and I just want to say that you guys keep impressing me! Keep up the good work. An extra congratulations should go out to Yuuki too, for his work with digitizing the Pokedex! I can't say I've ever been great with all this new technology, but my grandson has helped show me the ropes and it looks great!
Also Mikleo? I think your proposal has got legs to it! I look forward to seeing the results and it leads us any closer to repairing the damage that got caused to the Spirit Vein.
Regarding this month, the seers have reported to me that you guys are on the cusp of experiencing an incredible discovery! It'll also involve something underwater, so make sure you got your swimming skills or water-type Pokémon all ready to go. All the seers sounded really excited, so I can't help but be a bit envious! Oh what I'd give to go on another field study- but that'll have to wait.
Oh and before I go, last thing! Over the next week, you should keep an eye on your Pokémon. With the fourth of july coming, the fireworks that get set off might stress some of them out or hurt their ears. Might not be a bad idea to keep them in their Pokéball or go on a camping trip in the Kanto realm until the holiday dies down.
Alright, I'm off! I promised my grandson I'd treat him to lunch.
Sincerely,
Professor Oak

I mentioned that I've been working on a proposal for a project, so I'll lay it out here in... slightly fewer words than I used on the official documents that I submitted.
As you may know, my area of expertise involves the study of religious sites and their relationship to the Spirit Realm. I've decided that our assignment here would benefit from broadening my research-- especially since Willow and the majority of my division are no longer here.
I believe that we can find a way to slow down and/or contain the deterioration of the Spirit Vein and eventually repair it.
This sounds like a herculean task, and it is. It's something I don't mind spearheading for us, but I know that there are plenty of little moving pieces that I'll need help with. As with any hypothesis I can't be sure that what I'm doing will actually work, but we'll never know unless we try. POKEGO is all about sharing knowledge and doing good with it. I believe the best way to live up to that, right now, is undoing what Willow did.
Here is my plan:
I. Determine the exact structure and makeup of the Spirit Vein. Zodiac has technology that they use to sense where Spirit Gates are, so I want to borrow their tech and adapt it for our own uses. The intent here is to learn what the Spirit Vein is actually made of (with the expectation that the element changes every 30 days or so) and how strong it is, as well as if it radiates any waves or other characteristics that can be observed or measured. Obviously I don't know any programming, but if you have experience with that sort of thing, it'll be very helpful.
II. Survey the damage. We know that the biggest symptom of the Spirit Vein's decline are tears opening up, which have been observed previously in Kaisou on a few occasions. However, we've also noticed parts of the Spirit Realm seemingly leaking or lingering in the city, such as the overabundance of flora after the gate to the Fae realm. The sight of Heartless inside Oz is also an indicator that things are getting worse much faster than we anticipated. We should be able to observe changes in the Spirit Vein and the world around us once we have the Zodiac tech, I think.
III. Slow or contain the deterioration. I don't have a clear plan on what this will look like yet. Depending on what information we find in the first two phases, this may look different. I'm proposing that we can use the element of the Spirit Vein to our advantage and proactively seal its effects with an element that neutralizes the active one. This is assuming that the Spirit Vein has anything to do with the waxing and waning of the elemental wheel, though. We'll have to test several methods, so I expect this phase will be long and difficult, and maybe even a little dangerous. We'll also need to figure out how to reach it physically.
IV. Reverse the damage to the Spirit Vein. All POKEGO members should know the spell to seal the tears, and I'm happy to teach it to anyone who wants to learn (that includes apprentices). However, sealing up tears after they've ripped open the fabric of reality does nothing to prevent tears from forming elsewhere. We need to learn how to seal tears on a greater scale, or else find a way to duplicate the results of the spell in the places where the Spirit Vein is weakest. We won't be able to do that until we know more about the Spirit Vein itself, and what exactly we can do to affect it.
I think that covers everything so far. This project is still in the early stages as I wait for Zodiac to respond with the paperwork they said they'd send me.

But the times she had gotten caught in the rain had been... unpleasant, to say the least. Memories she had hoped to forget came springing back to the forefront, and honestly she cannot be dealing with that now. Or ever.
At the very least, she can restrict this to the group she actually knows and trusts. And she can mask it as a silly request from the silly tree who does things in her own, whimsical manner. ]
I have a strange request, if some of you would be willing to hear me out!
Due to reasons that are best not to go into, I'm having slight trouble with this awful crystal rain. Soooooo, would anyone mind terribly bringing a mirror onto that submarine to Atlantis? I would be ever so grateful.

We may have a situation. A client unrelated to POKEGO contacted me with possible information about the Libra data breach and asked me to try and look into it and confirm their suspicions. And I couldn't, which is a bad sign since they think the breach might have been Krusnik.
Does anyone here not know who that is?

Hello Everyone,
Oh boy. Pomegranate's kept me in the loop about what's going on. I'm already familiar with Krusnik. Back in POKEGO's early days when we were still establishing ourselves, they'd sometimes attempt to swipe members on field studies. They stopped after we gained more notoriety, but after last year's incident weakened our group... I can't make the same guarantee.
But that's alright. We've dealt with them before, and we'll deal with them again. As such, we're going to be establishing an "Alert, Not Anxious" stance.
This means:
I've spoken to an old associate with the Order, and he's informed me that the Black Order intends to eliminate Weissmann and his crew. Knowing the Black Order and their grudge with that man, they mean that very literally and won't hold back. Publicly, POKEGO is choosing to remain silent on their decision. I won't tell you guys not to get involved or to stay out of the Spirit Realm, I know better than that. But I ask that you please prioritize safety first. Don't do anything reckless, there are people who care about you.
That's all I have for now. Hopefully this will be resolved soon and we can get back to our research.
Safe safe everyone. And remember: Alert, Not Anxious.
Sincerely,
Professor Oak

Hello Everyone,
I hope you're all doing well! I heard that the Krusnik situation had been resolved from our Zodiac contacts... not sure how I feel about the Black Order filming it, but I can't say I'm surprised by it either. Still, I'm glad that's over with and I'm glad all of you are safe.
Oh, and you may have noticed Walnut is no longer in the city. Don't worry, she's perfectly fine, she just decided to go on another photography trip. That one is like a stray cat, I swear.
Great work with helping the people of Hyrule! I saw that you all contributed in your own ways, and I'm proud of everything you guys pushed forward. The hole that got mentioned in reports was certainly interesting, but please be sure to be careful if you choose to investigate it. Otherwise, I think it'd be a good idea to continue building relations with the people of that realm and helping them out. They got a long road ahead of them.
Finally, we've received words from the seers that the Great Library of Alexandria is making it's return to your area. I know for many of you, this is like getting access to a toy store at Christmas, but please make sure to follow the rules of the library! I don't want any of you getting on the Muses' bad side.
Though... actually, I have a bit of a personal favor to ask, if you don't mind. I'm aware that the Library of Alexandria is where Professor Willow came up with his plan that he enacted last November. I'm not sure if he's left any traces of his research in the place, or what he was looking up exactly, but...
This is a selfish request from a selfish old man, I know. But in every way but blood, he was my son. So please... help me understand his reasons. If it was my fault, or if there was something I could've done. I just... I need to know. Thank you.
Sincerely,
Professor Oak

Hello Everyone!
Hope everyone is doing well! First I want to give my personal thanks to Wisteria, Dracaena, Zelkova, and Pom for researching and sending me what you found about Willow. I'm sure it wasn't the easiest tasks to do, it certainly wasn't easy to read through your reports, but I'm truly grateful for it. You went out of your way to give an old man a chance to find some peace, so thank you.
Second, it seems there's been a number of clashes among your team within the last month! While heated debates and clashing personalities aren't anything unusual in our organization, I really do want to emphasize the importance of teamwork, communication, and accountability. Everyone in POKEGO are part of a team, not enemies out to get you. If a colleague approaches you with a concern or criticism, it's important to not immediately assume bad intent! It's also important not get defensive or close down avenues of communication - or leave them "on read" as my grandson tells me they call it these days. Not every criticism is completely valid, but it's still important to hear people out and consider their side of things. On the other hand, if you do have an issue with another colleague - perhaps using more private channels before you resort to a "call out" would give better results.
That's all I want to say on the matter. But unrelatedly, I do hope that Azalea, Zelkova, and Maple find your new living arrangements to be a positive experience!
Moving on to look less at the past and more at the future, thank you Azalea and Wisteria for all your hard work with the Spirit Energy Reader! (S.E.R? Hm I don't know, we should workshop a good acronym for it - comment with suggestions if you come up with anything). With this reader, we should be able to have better means to keep tabs on the Spirit Vein. I'll try talking it over with some of the other colleagues about how to get safely near the Spirit Vein, but in the meantime I'd suggest investigating any spots with extra high Spirit Energy for anything suspicious.
Finally, be sure to take care this month! Zodiac already mentioned it, but strange things can happen during this time of year and the normal population will be more likely to notice any strange stunts you pull. I've also heard word that the Black Order is gearing up to protect another "important realm", which likely means gods are going to be involved. This should go without saying especially for our senior members but please, please: do not do anything to invoke a god's wrath.
That's all I got for now! I'm off to decorate my home for Halloween. My lab coat makes the perfect easy Halloween costume, so you best believe I'll be giving out candy this year!
Sincerely,
Professor Oak

I plan to bring my Rowlet, Yoichi, but I don't think it'd be wise to bring Koukou the Fuecoco on a wooden ship. I'm going to ask a friend to look after him, but would anyone mind helping him out? Koukou is very sweet he's just... stupid.
Also, does anyone have suggestions for how to make a monthlong voyage on a ship easier? It's a very old ship, from the sound of it, and I've never been on a boat that long.
Thanks.

Is the group chat glitching for anyone else? It's showing extra people.

@ Azalea, I need you to field any calls for me this month in regards to POKEGO. I'll take urgent calls, of course.
[... Dan Heng should probably give context. He should. He just... there's no easing into it or anything, so he just has to rip the Band-Aid off.]
I've just been informed that Dan Feng, my past life before the last one, created a... daughter, I suppose, through a combination of science and magic. I'm currently processing this... information.
For the record: even if Dan Feng and his husband were biologically compatible for bearing children on their own, it would have been impossible. Vidyadhara are unable to reproduce, and I'm a Vidyadhara once again in this life. We were made to be permanent in accordance to what our creator was.

What's the problem with that?
