Hello Everyone!

Happy New Year! I can't believe it's already 2024, where have the years gone? I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. I know I did! Traveling Europe with my grandson was a wonderful experience. So much has changed the last time I visited! We even managed to reach the newly discovered Paldea gate and catch some lovely new evolutions of Applin. Meet Hydrapple everyone! Just in time for year of the dragon too.

Now as holidays wind down, it's unfortunately time for us to get back to work. Our biggest priority should be keeping the city of Kaisou safe from going into the Spirit Realm again. While none of you are to blame for the actions of Professor Willow and his collaborators, I still feel it's our organization's responsibility to try to help with this situation every way we can.

According to the seers, there should be something coming this month that might point the way. A type of energy source, if used properly. I suggest we start by looking into that. I'm not sure what will come out of it, but we must explore every lead we can.

Finally, I know many of you are on good terms with the Black Order guardians stationed in Kaisou, and there's nothing wrong with that, but I suggest remaining on your guard. Knowing the Black Order, they'll respond to this situation by doubling their efforts to get a control on everything. They've never been the kind of organization to leave things much alone if they felt they could do better. While the guardians stationed in Kaisou sound like decent people, there's plenty of guardians out there that won't bat an eye at fulfilling the Order's more heinous requests. And you better believe will use any justification they can to assert more authority, so try to keep your noses clean.

Sorry, I'm sure the last kind of message you want to hear at the start of the year is an old man expressing concerns. Be careful, but don't be afraid to celebrate the new year! Even if we have a lot on our plate, there's still plenty of good in the world, just waiting to be discovered.

Hope you're all doing well! January always seems like such a long month, doesn't it? It feels like ages since we last spoke! And it sounds like you've been rather busy yourselves.

First of all, I've been made very well aware of the Black Order's newest Guardian. Teresa is one I've had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting. She reached out some years ago to try to convince me to dismiss her brother Applewood from POKEGO so he could join the Order with her. And considering what ended up happening to him...

Remember, love can move mountains. But it can be dangerous if twisted. Too many times I've seen love move mountains... only for it to avalanche and crush all those you claim to hold dear. Take that as a piece of wisdom on this romantic month from an old man.

But enough of my rambling. The seers have said the Black Order may try to reach out to us to help with a problem. I say it's alright to hear them out, but do be careful. Do not tell them anything beyond what they need to know, and you're always allowed to tell them no. No matter what, we are not their subordinates.

And Maple and Wisteria? Not to single you out, but do please be extra careful this month. I know you got a lot of feelings about this situation, but I don't want to see either of you hurt. Alright?

Hope everyone's doing well! I know I've been looking forward to the coming of spring myself. These old bones just never like the winter cold very much, you know? But ah, enough of my complaining.

I'm glad to see that all of you have remained safe. And I also like to say good work on all the help you gave Cupid! I hope he's more mindful about his employees needs from now on.

Oh, and welcome to the Kaisou team Professor Floribunda! I hope your transfer to the city went over smoothly! Keep up that friendly spirit of yours, will you? The Kaisou crew are a good bunch, but they could use a bit more socializing, I think. Though, that's true of a lot of our teams.

Unfortunately, I don't have the greatest news to bring this month. Based on our calculations and seers, the Fae are going to be making another trip to your city. And no doubt just like before, they'll try to rope everyone into their problems. They've always been this way, long as anyone can remember.

Do what you can to help out so they'll move along, but don't let your guard down around them. Don't eat their food if you can help it, and don't give your name to them. You have your code names for a reason!

Happy April Fools! So glad I get to raichu today. I absolutely won't pull any pranks on you, but I've always found this holiday charming. Some jokers are gastly and finding them funny is farfetch'd, but I don't think there's any shaymin in being silly. especially if it leaves you weezing. Laughter is great for the spiritomb, a key part of humanity's eveelution-

Oh. My grandson is threatening to take over the email if I don't stop. Ahem, apologies apologies! I'll bee good.

Moving on to more serious matters, I'm aware of what happened with Teresa. Considering Teresa attacked two of us, I've got no interest in cooperating with their investigation. The same can't be said about Zodiac's Libra app. While they aren't fond of the Order either, capitalists like them are quick to bow to pressure.

My advice is to say nothing about the situation and be on your guard. Resist your curiosity for once in your life, and try to avoid the whole matter as much as you can. I know it's tough, but right now it's our best option.

Though, I know many of you are not good at sitting on your hands. So luckily, I've gotten in contact with an old friend and he says he'd love some help with his new museum he's starting. In exchange, him and his friend will be happy to give you a place to lay low while the Order's investigation is going on. You'll hear the details in a few days, but I hope you have a lot of fun! Think of it less of going into hiding, and more a new exciting field study!

Just be kind to him about his fear of bugs. I don't understand why he keeps agreeing to open bug museums if he's so afraid of them, but that's good ol' Blathers for you.

Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone's doing well on this beautiful May day! I'd like to thank you guys for all your help with Blather's museum. He was very thankful for your efforts and even offered to give us a bit more funding! Since you guys were the ones to earn it, expect to see an increase in your paychecks going forward. Of course, we still got a ways to go before we're still at livable wages, but we're trying our best.

Azalea, I'm aware of your interest in building a new app for everyone in the city, and I fully support! I don't know enough about technology to offer much more than my emotional support, but I think it's a good idea. I saw those prices that Zodiac wants to charge, and it's simply ridiculous. Companies these days want to nickel and dime people for everything.

This month, I don't have any specific assignments to hand out to you, but I do want to tell you to be cautious. It's been more difficult than usual to follow the movements of Black Order operatives ever since Teresa was killed. Even our seers can't get any readings on them. Usually when the Order increases its shroud of secrecy like this, they got something planned. So don't panic, but be on your guard.

Hello Everyone!

Happy Pride everyone! My grandson taught me how to post images into these messages, so I hope you enjoy it! POKEGO has always been blessed to have members from all walks of life, with a wide spectrum of sexualities and genders identities. While so much has changed over the years between societal views and our understanding- I think no matter what, it's important to be comfortable and proud with who you are. And even more important, it's crucial to accept people with openness and love in your heart.

Anyway, enough about that, for we got a lot of congratulations in order!

First I wanted to say great work Azalea on the launch of the Gemini app! I feel it'll help the other app users feel more at ease without worrying about Zodiac and the Black Order watching their every move.

Second, everyone should congratulate Trifolia and Ginkgo on their graduation from the POKEGO apprenticeship program! Both of you worked so hard and have overcome a lot of personal obstacles, and I'm extremely proud to have witness your growth. Not only are they our third batch of graduates, but this marks the one year anniversary of the launch of Kaisou's apprenticeship program! I'm extremely proud of all the work our apprentices had done over this past year, and I'm excited to see where you will go from here!

And speaking to a new year, we have a new batch of apprentices to welcome too! Carambola and Arbutus, welcome to POKEGO! I know the apprenticeship program may seem daunting, but I fully believe that you will overcome such barriers. Work hard, but be sure to enjoy yourselves along the way! And don't be afraid to ask for help from your fellow POKEGO members, they're all here to help you!

Hello Everyone!

Happy July! I hope you had a wonderful start of the summer last month. I know I did! My grandson finally introduced me to his boyfriend. Or I guess reintroduced - since I knew him back when he was a kid and living in the same town as my grandson. Oh, talk about a long whirlwind of love. Oh, shouldn't probably say anything else, don't want to risk embarrassing my grandson too much and have him skip the holidays again. Haha, youth.

I should say some congratulations are in order. Blackthorn, congratulations on winning that drag competition! I knew you had it you. As for Maple, Floribunda, Lotus and Arbutus? I'd like to extend a congratulations too for participating! I know it wasn't easy, and I'm proud of all of you for giving your own!

And I even got greater news for you all! Thanks to that interesting fellow that Azalea found, I'm happy to announce we'll be able to reinstate proper wages for you all! Can't say I ever thought the day would come we'd find a generous billionaire, but guess there's all sorts in the world!

Now that we're not scrounging for funds to keep our doors open, we can focus yet again on outreach and research! As such, we have some connections with the runners of Kaicon that's coming this month, and they generously offered us a booth! So, I'd like you all to take turns teaching the convention visitors about the wonders of Pokémon! Maybe even bring some Pokémon for people to see! Though, do try to keep it to Pokémon that are comfortable with crowds. We don't want to cause our critter friends any undue stress.

Hello Everyone!

Sorry this month's email is coming out so late! You all seemed so focused that I didn't want to distract you from your important work. But seems it all worked out- so let me just say congratulations! I'm really proud of all of you, for all the help you gave. While I created this organization to be an alternative safe haven from the Order, I can't say I ever imagined it outlasting the Order. And I'm even happier to see that all of you managed to return safe and sound.

And even better, it seems we have a whole bunch of new apprentices! Hello there Acacia, Fern, Bristlecone, and Grandiflora! Welcome to our humble organization! I look forward to getting to know each of you, and look forward to see the journeys you'll take while you're with us!

Speaking of journeys, I think it's time for us to have our own! Next weekend (August 30th - September 1st), plan for a short expedition trip into the Kanto realm! This could be an excellent time to have some team bonding time, as well as give a warm welcome to our new members! So try to make it if you can! I'll send you guys some extra funds for camping supplies if you need to stock up!

Hello Everyone!

It's been awhile! Sorry I haven't written, I unfortunately got caught up in some fascinating research. That's the issue when you get old, it's so easy to lose track of time when something finds your interesting.

Anyway, I first want to give a belated but warm welcome to our newest apprentice, Bauhinia! Welcome to POKEGO and I hope you find it to your liking! The Kaisou team is a great team, even if they are a bit introverted.

Oh, and speaking of apprentices- Carambola and Arbutus! I'm sorry your exams got delayed due to the Heartless incident. But good news! Professor Rowan has informed me that they've been rescheduled for December 2nd- right after Thanksgiving weekend! Good luck and I'm excited to see you two graduate.

Now, moving for the full members- Lotus and Larch, I've been made aware you went through a rather difficult experience during October. I've already sent you some care packages that I hope will help- but I also want you guys to check in with the POKEGO therapists. Especially you Lotus.

Finally there's Aralia, who just moved to Kaisou! Sorry you had such a rocky transfer to the team! We didn't even get a chance to roll out the red carpet before you were put to work, talk about unfortunate. But you did very well, jumping right into the action and trying to handle everyone's questions. Be sure to treat yourself this week, okay? You've earned it.

I think that's it for personal messages, so the rest of the letter is to all of you. I want to say you guys all did amazing with helping the city. Using the tower to power a barrier was an ingenious idea, Lotus. Hopefully with that in place, we can keep the city and its residents safe.

That said, I am a bit concerned about the edges of the city. The appearance of the mountain was unexpected. While there's been cases of locations from former worlds appearing on Earth before, nothing in records say that they were ever the size of the mountain. If you guys wish to investigate it, that'd be quite useful- but make sure to bundle up! And don't do anything reckless.

Finally, I want you guys to keep an eye on the appearance of second elements in people. While it's not unusual to get elemental abilities from their past lives, this seems rather different. I'm a little worried about the effect it could have on people's health. So if you're experiencing such a thing, I ask you to do regular health check ups okay? It doesn't have to be anything too intense, just keep a record of your health and note anything unusual.
