I'd prefer not to experiment on anything to do with the divine, but since that's how Willow was able to mess everything up in the first place, it might be unavoidable. I wonder if I can use my own power for that... We'll cross that bridge when we come to it, I suppose.

Maybe...for the portal, we used about a pint of blood from a Chthonic god because a friend of mine said titan's blood was used to create portals in his world.
Considering the level of destruction it caused, it's possible one of the things that went wrong was we used a too powerful a power source. Maybe something from a weaker spirit wouldn't have the same effect, in theory.
I'm not sure how I feel about testing it though.

Of course. I never throw away my notes. Even if something is a failure doesn't mean we can't use that information for something better in the future. We can't learn from our mistakes if we just forget them.
Jun's right [Just everyone take a moment to appreciate he said that, he NEVER WILL AGAIN] Something weaker might be a good place to start. It's just as likely we overloaded it, trying to punch through dimensional doors. Went a little too hard, y'know?

Testing it will be tricky and even more dangerous than the other thing I have in mind. We'll just work on it as we go, and if a better solution doesn't present itself, then we'll figure it out.
[Holy shit, Varian said Jun is right. That's probably getting framed for the wall.]
I think it would be kind of poetic if it ended up helping us fix this whole mess. But even without that, I'm really glad you made it into the program, Varian. You've helped a lot so far, and you work with Jun pretty well too.

[Sorry Mikleo's vessel is too busy fussing to catch that Mikleo actually called him and Varian a good team]

[He appreciates the concern, but also, you two are hilarious.]

Yeah, there's no need to take any risks if we don't have to take them. It's a good theory, but it's for sure one we want on the back burner. But it's good to know it's another option, thank you.
And I'm just glad SOME good might come out of that thing.
[Its nice to hear that Mikleo's glad he's here though. That means a lot. ]

I personally rather forget it myself, but I suppose finding some use for that research is better than nothing.
