Hello Everyone!

Hard to believe it's almost springtime already, it feels like the winter really flew past us this year! I'm glad for it myself, for while there's many things to cherish about wintertime, the cold weather isn't kind to my old joints.

Anyway, I'll try to keep things brief this time! First of all, I wanted to send out a heartfelt congratulations to our newest members! Thanks to their hard work, Grandiflora and Acacia have passed the final exam and our now full time members of POKEGO. Please, make sure to award yourselves you two- you've more than earned it! I look forward to working alongside you two.

Now, onto more important business. I've been made aware of one of our apprentices current struggles. Bristlecone, first I want to say that I hope you aren't tearing yourself down over a mistake. Mistakes happen. There's probably isn't a single member of POKEGO who hasn't had some magic backfire at them at some point or another- including myself. It's just something that happens in our line of work. I'm just terribly sorry that this is having such repercussions, you don't deserve that.

That said, while I'm limited in what I can do, I have been reaching out through my contacts to see what information can be gathered. While none of them were familiar with a crystal of this particular nature (and thus I have reason to believe that this crystal did not come from our world), some of the seers did suggest trying to use material that comes from fallen stars. And based on astrological predictions from some associates, there should be some meteor showers occurring in both Kaisou and Hyrule in the near future.

I know it's not a lot, but it's a lead. Just like our ancestors of old would follow the stars to guide them home- I hope this too will lead us to prosperity.

Well, I must get going now. Speaking of mistakes, one of the teams in the Mediterranean tried to cook enchanted Lotus and failed to neutralize its potency, again. Never a dull day, it seems.

Personally, I also think that you'll need the time to recover mentally and emotionally from this ordeal, and having a high stress exam won't help you right now. It's more fair to have you take it when you're at your best.

No one blames you for making this mistake, Sampo. I'm sorry it's progressed to this point. That was my failing as your mentor, but I'll be sure to correct that by doing everything I can to help.

Having never personally witnessed a meteor shower of this magnitude, I think it would be a good opportunity for all of us to search for these fallen stars. Perhaps we could learn something else of value that will aid Bristlecone. It could have incredible effects on the environment as well.

I'm curious to see what other properties we might uncover from using this in metalworks. Would you care to help me compile the data we find after we help Sampo? This sounds like it'll be a rare find after this star shower, so having someone who knows the stone without needing to waste resources will be helpful.

Thank you for the congratulations, I will be happy to award myself once we have dealt with Bristlecone's situation. His health and well being is more important than celebrating any accomplishment right now.

That being said, I whole heartedly support the search for these fallen stars not only for Bristlecone's sake but also any other opportunities they could bring with them.

i can get around hyrule easier now, everstone was a work around solution but it seems like a good consensus that these falling stars could work even better. i'll do a good study on them once we find some to be sure.

It depends on the species of lotus, but based on the area he mentioned.... side effects include forgetfulness, apathy, sleepiness, and overall lethargy.
