What are Side Quests and how do they work?
Side Quests are optional missions/jobs that are posted on the Libra Network each month for characters to do. New quests will appear every month around the same time as the OOC plotting post (so about the 28th), but ICly will appear on the app on the 1st of the month.

Players will sign up their characters to do particular quests, either by themselves or with a group. During the sign up, players will give information on how well a character would do on a particular quest (for example: if an illiterate character was asked to read some books to children, you should mention that they can't read). With this information factored in, the mod helper will respond with roughly how smoothly the quest will turn out based on a combination of your characters skills and RNG.

From there, players are free to play out or handwave the side quests as they wish! While we ask that players sign up for quests that are happening in the current month, players can backdate quest threads as much to your liking.

There is no limit to how many characters can be part of a single quest group. You can do quests by yourself, or have a raid party of 30 characters.

You can sign up for as many group quests (2 or more characters) as you like. While you can sign up for a solo quest, they are currently restricted to one per month per character.

Are there Rewards?
Each quest will have IC rewards for characters that vary depending on the quest and how well the characters do.

On the OOC end, turning in quest threads that have at least 3 comments from your character will earn you 1 free gacha point. The quest doesn't need to be completed, it just needs to have at least three comments from your character in order to be eligible. While you can sign up for as many group quests as you like in a month, you can only redeem up to 3 gacha points per month. Threads for quests from previous months can be redeemed as well, but it'd count towards the quest turn-ins for the current month. In group quests, when redeeming gacha points, please be sure that each player who wishes to redeem the thread for a gacha roll comments individually so we can keep track of individual free gacha totals.

Quest Name: There's No Place Like HOLY SHIT KILL IT WITH FIRE
Relevant Skills: Velvet, Eunie and Lapis are all violent women with strong fighting abilities and also bones to pick with the entire universe. Give them anything, they will fight it. Also I guess Eunie can heal, which is probably useful.
Anything else?: Basically the Black Order ladies are having a girl's night out after to destress from work and distract Eunie from her birthday! This means they will love to turn on the violence. Whether they are able to make up a tale about the spiderwebs............well they look like a bunch of edgelords and Eunie has wings on her head so they could probably just claim they are the type of people that love Halloween year round.

MISSION: PASSING

The ladies certainly are a powerhouse and they give the mimic a hell of a fight. For every slash and stab it can do, one of them is always there to counter, working like a well-oiled team- but the mimic isn't giving up either. Unfortunately, it's not for letting the captives go and they have a considerable amount of trouble freeing them. At one point, the mimic starts throwing garden implements around and a captive nearly gets impaled on a rake. It's clear the straight-up fighting is starting to cause some peripheral damage and after a long drawn-out battle, neither side seem to be winning. That is until the mimic overhears that it's Eunie's birthday and actually stops in the fight. It scurries into one of its webs and pulls out a little paper hat which it drops on Eunie's head.

Apparently, it's not down for attacking someone on their birthday, and with that, it scurries off away from the scene of the crime. It leaves the girls with the cleanup and the job of cutting free the remaining residents, who are ABSOLUTELY confused by all of what's going on right now- the year-round Halloween excuse does seem to work though. Somehow. There's a lot of spider webs to clean up, and the mimic is still out there SOMEWHERE, but hey you uh- you stopped it for now, so mission accomplished?

For their (just about) victory, between them they get $8888, as well as a Spider-B-Gun. Once a day when the trigger is pulled, it will summon a medium-sized torrent of flame big enough to deal with any spider problem. If this means burning down the entire house, it's worth it. Eunie can keep the birthday hat if she so chooses.
