In panfandom RP, it's inevitable that you will build relations outside your casts and you may even start to acquire things from them. And when those acquired things progress farther some words and maybe a night out at Taco Bell- this is the post you want to go to!
Transferring Regain/Gacha Items
Characters are allowed to gift items they receive through regain or the gacha system to another character. While normally doing this will only last as long as the original character remains in the game, the item transfer system will make the ownership change permanent. Once a transfer has been requested, the item will transferred over to the new character and it will remain in their possession even if the original owner of the item drops from the game.
For instance, if Batman has regained the batmobile and decides he wants Naruto to have it, they can fill out the forms here and the batmobile will be listed in Naruto's inventory. If Batman drops shortly after, the batmobile will continue to remain in Naruto's possession.
The Pricing
Items that were purchased either through Gacha Goodwill or received through the gacha item can be transferred free of charge.
As for canon items, the character who is receiving the item will need to pay a discounted price based on the cost of the original item. The pricing is as followed:
Canon Transfer Item Price
Original Price | Transfer Price |
---|---|
1 point | 1 point |
2 points | 1 point |
3 points | 2 points |
4 points | 2 points |
8 points | 4 points |
Common Questions
What if the character who received the item drops before the one who gifted it?
If the receiving character drops before the original owner, the item will be returned to the original owner.
Are there any restrictions on items that can be transferred?
If an item is one that's considered something only a chosen one can own, then it wouldn't be transferable. For example you can't transfer ownership of a keyblade.
If I listed an item as a Goodwill item as a gift when I purchased it, do I need to comment here?
Nope you don't! This post is mostly to inform the mods of who owns what.
Can characters still use items even if they haven't been transferred?
They can! However should the original owner ever drops, the item will also go poof. This is to make sure that doesn't happen.
What if the item had additional regained abilities that went beyond the base price of the item?
In cases like that, assuming the receiving character would be able to use those abilities, they'd need to pay regain points in order to access those additional abilities. ICly, this can be justified by them needing time to learn how to fully utilize the magical item they've been given. This can be done on the regain post.
Can I transfer items from one of my characters to another one of my own characters?
Unfortunately, no. Since the Item Transfer system exists primarily for CR building purposes and/or helping out your fellow player, we want to make sure all items transfers happen between two players.
Can I transfer items to either a facility or faction rather than a specific person?
You can, yes! That way, the item will stick around so long as the facility or faction exists.
Some common places to donate to are:
- Cygnus Academy & PICHU Program: Cygnus is a school run that teaches various magical techniques and relevant information. PICHU Program is a POKEGO-run part of the academy, which can be used for research and other related activities.
- Fortress of Meropide: An underwater prison that is in Kaisou harbor. It was originally property of the Black Order, but the app users took control of it in July 2024. It's run by Wriothesley and houses several other characters.
- The Vogue: A theater run by Zulius in the Entertainment district. At this point there are so many player character employees working there it's practically its own faction.
The Forms
If your character is GIVING an item to someone, please fill out one of the following forms:
Goodwill/Gacha Item | Canon Item |
With canon items, the receiving player will then need to respond to the transfer comment, agreeing to the transfer and fee charge. After they approve of it, the item will then be transferred into their possession.
Cross Canon Powers
Characters are allowed to learn certain abilities from other characters even if they don't share the same canon. These abilities must be something that is teachable (aka no innate abilities you need to be born with).
In order to learn abilities from canons outside your own or teach canon abilities to others, you must pay a permit fee. These permit fees will basically give the green light for teachers to teach certain abilities from their canon, while also allowing learners to learn new abilities from different canons.
The process will generally look like this:
- Player regains Merlin's ability to turn into squirrels.
- Merlin's player decides to have him teach squirrel magic to students. So Merlin's player will pay a permit fee to allow him to do so.
- Merlin now seeks out students. He finds a student who wants to learn squirrel magic. Student then pays the permit fee that allows them to learn as well the regain needed to cast squirrel magic.
- ICly, Merlin spends some time teaching the student the way of squirrel magic.
- Thanks to Merlin's IC instruction, the student can now cast squirrel magic whenever they like.
Alternatively, you can also purchase magical pacts/bonds on this page! Pacts are similar to cross canon abilities, except characters will lose access to the regain abilities should the pact be somehow severed.
The Pricing
Please look at this spreadsheet for an idea of the pricing between the cross canon abilities.
Keep in mind that for abilities that fall under Tiers 3-5, you should try to follow canon rational about who can learn those skills (anything in Tier 1 & 2 we are following the logic that ALL player characters have enough spirit power to learn it), and there will be a request for IC justification for why you think a character could potentially learn that ability.

Common Questions
What qualifies as a class of abilities?
A class of abilities basically means any group of abilities that are similar to each other or share a similar purpose. Like for instance, all healing magic would be considered a single class because they all share the similar purpose of healing injured/sick people. Therefore, if you want your character to learn Cure and Esuna spells, you just need to pay ONE learners permit fee for them even if they are technically different abilities.
If you want a simplified way of thinking about it, consider specializations or job classes in video games. All the abilities that'd fall under a specific job and/or specialization would typically fall under the same class, provided it's not one of those jack-of-all-trades situations.
Can a teacher teach an ability they don't currently have?
Nope, they can't. Teachers need to have the ability meant to be taught themselves before they can teach it to others. This can be bought in the normal regain page as it's a normal canon regain.
How long should it take a character to learn an ability?
This will greatly vary depending on the ability, the teacher, and the student - so we're not going to make a hard and fast rule about it. However, try to pace it for a time line that feels reasonable. A character should not be a master of magic within a single night.
If my character is teaching/learning something that falls under Tier 1, should I still comment?
It's not fully necessary but it'd be appreciated! That way it's easier for us to keep track of who has what abilities.
The Forms
If your character is GIVING an item to someone, please fill out one of the following forms:
Teacher Permits | Learner Permits | Learner Powers | Pact Powers |
With learner permits, the named teacher will need to respond to the comment to confirm that they are in fact taking them on as a student.
