Two reasons. They're marketed as sandwiches, and they're just breads with savory fillings but no gravy like savory pies.

And by that logic, burritos and tacos are also sandwiches.

I've seen people argue that. The burrito argument is stronger than the taco.

You know I just saw a man get cursed for doubling down on his bad drink opinions. He kept insisting to French people $2 wine is the same as champagne, and now all liquor to him tastes of vinegar.
