This post is for either large-scale player-run plots that would require mod approval or player suggested events?

What is a Player-run plot?
A player-run plot is exactly what it sounds like! It's a plot that is run entirely by the players. Once approved, it'll be up to the player to introduce the plot and do the write up for the event. Depending on the scale of the plot and the timing, the actual date that the plot takes place may vary. Some may be given immediate green light while others may be requested to be put on hold. As such, if you are running a very large event that you want to happen on a specific month, it is recommended you submit it 2 months in advance so the mod has proper time to prepare (so if you want an event to take in March, submit it by the end of January).

City-wide events that are very similar to one another in nature will also be spaced out on a seasonal/3-month basis at minimum (example: if there's a player-run formal dance in April, another formal dance won't be approved until July at the earliest).

A player-run plot that requires mod approval would be any event that falls under any of the following criteria:

A non-dangerous event that could affect 50 or more people (NPC and PC) within the course of a single day (conventions, festivals, a large concert, etc)

A dangerous event that could affect 5 or more people or kill at least 1 person (violent rampages, fighting tournaments, murders, etc)

Any Spirit Realm related events that are different from events (creating a gate into the spirit realm, getting kidnapped into the spirit realm, etc)

It should be noted that all plots must be opt-in in style. In other words, players must have the ability to not participate in the event without making them unable to play their character while the plot is going on.

What about Player Suggested Events?
Player Suggested Events are suggestions for plots that you'd like to see happen in the game, but you don't want to write/run yourself. These events can be stuff that happened in the Spirit Realm or stuff that happen in the city. Should a suggestion be used, the mod may contact you to ask you for more information if it involves a canon or mythology they are unfamiliar with. If an event is used, players who requested to collaborate will be contacted by the mod and they'll work together on the plot.

Player Suggested Events will have no set schedule. Mostly these suggestions will be included whenever the mod thinks it'd work well with a monthly event. It might be in the following month, it might be in a year.

Are there any plots that are off limits?
Plots that involve elements of any of the following are not allowed in Kaisou:

Plots that cannot be opted-out of without rendering a character unable to play for the duration for the plot. (monster attacking a neighborhood? Fine! Monsters attacking every street? Not fine!)

Plots that would level the city. We need that city.

Mass Shootings (Rampaging using magic is ok, but nothing involving guns please)

Spirit Realm Events that involve any figures from currently practiced religions.

Any events that involve people that exist or have existed in real life (if it's a historical figure that's become something of a myth of their own, ala Bloody Mary, that's more flexible).

Any deadly plague/virus plots. You know why.
