This is the post for any major character updates such as canon updates, possessions, and deaths. All of these options require MOD APPROVAL before going forth ICly. And while not strictly required, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED you talk to your close CR about these plans before you fill out these forms.
Canon Updates
The character will either pass out or disappear for a few days, before they wake up with extra memories of their time in their homeworld. If you are updating from a canon that updates daily, weekly or monthly (tv shows, manga, comics, etc) - you can update to any canon point that's been released in English (either officially or a reliable fan translation) for at least 2 weeks. If you are updating from a canon that updates less frequently than monthly (movies, video games, books, etc), then you can update to any canon point that's been released in English for at least one month.
Characters can only be canon updated once every 3 months.
Note: Only OU characters require official canon updates! AU characters have no official canon point, so they can regain memories as they see fit.
Possessions
Characters who have near-death experiences can be saved by being possessed by a supernatural being that'll heal them. They will feel stronger and have a boost to their powers that scales based on what kind of being is possessing them. However, strong emotions will cause things to break around them, and they will have to keep a strong will to retain control. Should they ever fail to stay in control, they will be dragged into the spirit realm where they'll need to be saved before they become a permanent denizen of the realm.
All possessed characters require to have a contract price. This is an action or behavior that a possessed character must fulfill that's an actual impediment to their life. Depending on what the contract price is, it may need to be required to fulfill on a regular basis, whenever they use their abilities, or it's just always going on. Characters who are possessed by a god-level being must have two contract prices.
Any type of character can become possessed. Characters can only be possessed by one being at a time unless you got a canon power that allows otherwise, in which case talk to the mod.
Death
So you have chosen death.
Characters who die will have their bodies remain. After 1 IC week, they will wake up in an labyrinth much like an OU arrival. Any regains or powerups a character gained during the course of the game will be gone, but they will still remember their time in the game and you have the option to change any details about your AU or canon update at this time.

Character Name: Luisa Madrigal
Possessed By: A panther
Contract Price: For one week each month, Luisa will experience an intense eating-sleeping period. For the first four days of the week she will always feel extremely hungry, and no matter how much she eats she will not be satiated until the end of the fourth day when she will finally feel full. Then she will fall asleep for the next three days; though nothing will appear wrong, she will not be able to be woken up, and can only wake up on her own the morning after the three days have passed.

Character Name: Hunter
New Canon Point: Post-Eclipse Lake, shortly after the Hunter's Palisman Observations recording which occurred during Dana's charity livestream on March 13th (pre-2B).
Notes: Hunter will disappear shortly after the gang gets back from Stardew Valley, on (or later than) April 16th. Flapjack will be getting a canon update as well!

Saffy | Amal Vasiya | Canon Update
Character Name: Amal Vasiya
New Canon Point: After the events of Endwalker (6.0) (release date: Dec 2021).
Notes: Amal will be passing out during May's plot so he can be updated. Anyone who checks on him will find him snoozing peacefully, though he's impossible to wake up.

Character Name: Luffy
New Canon Point: Amazon Lily, Chapter 524
Notes: It's only 11 chapters but a lot happens. It's the first time he's really used Conqueror's Haki in a fight against a person, though it's subconscious. It's also the first time he learns he has this ability, although he has no idea what it really means, as it hasn't been explained to him yet. This is also the first time he learns that his brother is about to be executed. Not good.
This will happen some time very early November, most likely brought on by the fighting he did in October.

Character Name: Moxxie
Death By: He's going to be shot with his own demon hunting gun
AU Changes/Canon Updates: N/A
Notes: I will be spending points to regain the following gacha items: his leviathan axe, knitting needle knives, the serenitea pot and his cat

Since you do have enough point to buy back his demon form, whether or not he revives in his human or demon form is up to you! Also it's up to you how much he remembers of his death.

Character Name: Waver Velvet
New Canon Point: mid-Fifth Holy Grail War (winter '04)
Notes: Mostly he's just going through the same character arc that was already covered in the Persona event, so I'm just keeping my ducks in a row with this. Nothing new in regard to powers or anything important, he's just Going Through It. He's probably going to be coming back a little injured, but. whoops. Intention is for him to take a nap over the weekend so nobody misses their finals and I don't miss the requisite shitpost fiesta on the 1st as is customary, if all this is acceptable.

Character Name: Scintilla Caminus
New Canon Point: End of patch 6.51
Notes: Nothing of modly concern, she's just Seen Some Shit including a vampire, the abridged plot of FF4, yet another moon, a girlboss, more aliens, and her entire pantheon picking a fight at the same time. I figure she'll powernap for a few days before Christmas and, well, that's one kind of present for you.

PRINCE | VASH THE STAMPEDE | CANON UPDATE
Player Name: Prince
Character Name: Vash the Stampede
New Canon Point: End of Trimax Manga, when he's wandering the world alone again after Knives' cult has disappeared and the world is back to peace.
Notes: He will be falling asleep on the late night of the 31st, after the New Year hits and he'll be waking up the evening of the 3rd.

Bon | Diarmuid ua Duibhne | Canon Update
Character Name: Diarmuid ua Duibhne
New Canon Point: Mid-Fifth Holy Grail War, Winter 2004
Notes: Several things here. First is that Diarmuid is now a Saber class Servant so he’s stronger than before but for Kaisou purposes this just affects a couple things that’ll be regained later. Secondly, because he died as a Lancer and was re-summoned as a Saber, his memories of Lancer and Saber will be scrambled for a bit upon return but for all intents and purposes he's the same guy. Third, he was just made to face his king Fionn mac Cumhaill, a massive source of his emotional turmoil, before retreating with his severely injured dumbass Master who faced the guy alone so he’ll be juggling that internal strife. The plan is for him to knock out from the night of 1/28 to 2/2.

RYUU | DAN HENG | POSSESSION
Character Name: Dan Heng
Possessed By: Vritra
Contract Price: Whenever Dan Heng uses his powers, he will need to eat afterwards and will have hunger pangs. The more he uses his powers, the more he has to eat and the more painful his hunger gets. This is heightened whenever he uses powers associated with Imbibitor Lunae, such as cloudhymn magic.
Notes: Since this is a contract price, I'm not going to submit it as a Flaw since I feel that wouldn't be fair to double dip, and because I also plan for a confrontation with Vritra later on.

Effy | Edward Kenway | Canon Update
Character Name: Edward Kenway
New Canon Point: during Forgotten Temple episode 51, while he and his crew are being detained on the Fenghuang! which is in 1725, four years after his current canon point.
Edward is now a fully-fledged Assassin who believes in the Assassin’s Creed and has become a lot more heroic and thoughtful as a result. he’s more likely to try and keep a level head, and is sincerely trying to be a better person. he’s still very willing to do crimes, though, that’s sort of part and parcel of the Assassin work—he’ll just be more discerning about who he does crimes to. he also will no longer think of himself as a pirate—he took the pardon and went home to raise a family, so if you ask him when he’s not working on the Jackdaw he’ll say he’s a merchant now. he’ll still keep up the pirate act for the tourists, though.
Notes: Edward will be getting knocked out and fast asleep from the 3rd of July to a day or so after Shay Cormac gets got. he’ll be pissed he missed killing the Templar.

Lassie | Kni | Canon update
Character Name: Kni
New Canon Point: Episode 9 of Trigun Stampede
Notes:
After discussing this with Prince & Jackals, I am looking to canon update Kni from his canon point after the Great Fall to episode 9 of the anime which takes place 5 years later after the survivors land on Noman's Land.
Due to how quickly Plants age, both physically and mentally, five years for Kni would bring him closer to the age range of 15-16 years old. When I first brought Kni into the game he had just recently turned 1 year old and was around 11-12 years old in terms of physical & mental age, so this canon update would be essentially a growth spurt for him. I figured after a year in game this would follow the semi-natural progression of his growth. I have a few reference images ( one, two, three ) of how his appearance would change, but it isn't by much. He would still retain all his memories of Kaisou after waking up from his three day coma nap, as well. Please let me know if there is any further information you may need or if this kind of update for Kni can be doable. Thank you!

Character Name: Takame Kesi
Possessed By: Dionysis
Contract Price: 1. Indulge. Takame must never hold back his deepest desires in any capacity. In this specific case, he must always give in to the side of himself that will hold nothing back in a battle. Attempting to hold back will cause him debilitating chest pain until he follows the price.
2. Imbibe. Takame must drink wine whenever his possessor has a hankering for it. Which can be at literally any point that he finds it most amusing. Failure to do so will again cause chest pain.
Notes: I won’t be grabbing any dietary requirement/restriction flaws due to this. The first price may exacerbate his Berserker flaw, but to keep things fair I won’t buy anymore of that either. He will stay at Level 1!

Just as a note, due to this being a possession with a deity - it will prevent him from forming any magical pacts with other divine beings. Gods are not great at sharing, what a surprise.

Character Name: Scintilla Caminus
New Canon Point: Patch 7.01 (post-Dawntrail)
Notes: Apart from the job change there's nothing major enough to require mod concerns; she's gone through a beach episode, The Horrors, and also started her road to Wrestlemania tournament arc.

Jade | Rose | Canon Update
Character Name: Rose
New Canon Point: Post 7.0 (Including Arcadion)
Notes: This should be 6.x patches through 7.0 proper! Rose went home, and it was rough, but at least it wasn’t as bad as May.
She’s conking out from the 19th to the 21st.

Bon | Takame Kesi | Canon Update
Character Name: Takame Kesi
New Canon Point: 6.0 -> 7.05 (This includes the Endwalker Patch Cycle, Pandaemonium, Myths of the Realm, Dawntrail Main Story and Arcadion)
Notes: So! The main thing about this is, Takame's participation in post-Endwalker and Dawntrail Main story is only partial! The majority of the legwork was done by his friend Shikuha aka O'zhian.
But Takame still had a hand in all parts of main story and is fully aware of what takes place throughout it all, specifically when things escalate in Dawntrail as that point is where he enters main story in earnest. Pandaemonium, Myths of the Realm and Arcadion he was part of entirely first hand though!
The plan is for Takame to have a lil' eep an' beep from 10/1-10/9, so just over a week while his at-home bestie forces him to take a break. He... he doesn't succeed but such is the WOL life.

AC | Ritsuka Fujimaru | Canon Update
Character Name: Ritsuka Fujimaru
New Canon Point: end of Ordeal Call 3
Notes: ICly this will happen a few days after the event end/probably around mid-month post!

Character Name: March 7th
New Canon Point: end of 2.5 update, aka end of Xianzhou Luofu's Wardance arc!
Notes: March will have gained a new set of martial abilities when she wakes up, having learned swordsmanship from Yunli and Yanqing over the course of two weeks! she won't be gaining any special powers but she'll be better at close-range attacks now. she'll be conking out from the 19th to the 24th, so she doesn't miss Christmas.

New Canon Point: End of the 3rd movie
Notes: This won't actually be applicable/kick in until the 20th and he'll be out cold for a few days starting then, just putting this in now so I don't forget about it!

Effy | Edward Kenway | Canon Update
Character Name: Edward Kenway
New Canon Point: Post-Forsaken
Notes: he'll be getting updated from Forgotten Temple to right after his brief appearance in Forsaken! I say brief bc his appearance in Forsaken uh ends in his death in 1735. he'll be knocked out from the 12th to the 15th, missing SOS ICly, and then waking up with only the sensation of having been stabbed.

Character Name: March 7th
New Canon Point: end of 3.6, "Back to Earth in Evernight" (when Evernight hands control of the body back to March)
Notes: the most major thing about this update is that the person waking up in March's body in Kaisou? isn't March, but Evernight. Evernight's background is shrouded in mystery, but what we do know for sure is that she's March's other self who remembers everything she's forgotten. As a result, Evernight is significantly less excitable and far more morally ambiguous, and her first and only real priority is protecting March 7th's innocence and well-being. she's been convinced by March to pull back a little bit, but she's still willing to do what she considers to be dirty work so March doesn't have to.
