wow, really? I've never heard of anyone else who can do that. It was always just me. But only my family have magic back home.

oh yeah, it's delicious. Julieta really knows her stuff even without her magic. Her arepas con queso are amazing.

yeah, not so on hydaelyn. magic is common enough and there's different kinds. i don't know if the echo is magic in itself, but it's definitely not something that people choose to have. i can't think of anyone who would choose to see the future since it's always cryptic and out of context... and seeing the past is always inconvenient because it happens when you're in the middle of fights and stuff

i don't know why anyone would choose this either? it's the worst thing in the world. like you have to be pretty self-loathing to actually want to see the future. and yeah the past feels like more..."well we could have learned this with hindsight!"

yeah, my friend tried her best to put it to use and find out as much about it as possible, and she did great work! but i don't think i could have done the same. those scholar types are something else. i'm sure seeing the unknown past can help sometimes, but it's not going to be very useful if the person having the vision gets eaten by a monster while they're experiencing it.
