well, they want to make sure the people they hire as dancers actually look the part, probably. i'm guessing the actual dancing part of the audition starts later? this is so much different from what i'm used to...... it's easier to get a job when you can just take a note off a board

Yeah, usually jobs like that wanna make sure you look the part before going further. And I know you can look after yourself, so if they are sketch you can beat their ass.

I know what you mean though. I've never really been employed in the usual sense, so the whole process seems so fucking complicated.

Like, I'm glad Zodiac at least helps with apartments and shit since I wouldn't be able to make any sense of it. There's just so many documents involved in everything.

if i was the kind of person who cared about having a bed every night i might have applied for one, but i wanted to see how i'd do on my own first. plus i like staying with different people-- i've made a few friends that way

See I have the charm and charisma of an angry bull, so I knew couch hopping wouldn't work for me. Would end up pissing them off in about a day.

But it's good you made some friends along the way, probably one of the best ways too since you have to trust someone a little to stay with them. And if you ever need a new place to crash sometime, you're always welcome here.
