No, it's fine. Little ones who've never seen a Miqo'te very often ask if I'm just a cat. Just so long as he didn't tug my tail, I wouldn't mind him asking!

I mean, jaguars are still generally pretty dangerous?! Antonio's is probably only nice because he can talk to it... I still wouldn't want to run into a jaguar walking about town, myself, though? Poisonous or not!

Do they pounce or anything, if they're not otherwise tame?

Uhh, I guess, yeah? They drag their food into trees to eat it. They're really strong. We don't get them inside the Encanto often, but... they're around.

Hm. I've never heard of such relatively tame monsters, and now I'm wondering which world is the outlier: mine, or this one.

Iiiii'm not the person to ask, I think. I've never left the Encanto til now. The mountains around our Encanto keep us safe from stuff like— I dunno, jaguars, I guess, and whatever else is out there... Apparently not, uh, interdimensional tears in the fabric of the universe, hah, but safe from invaders and war and all that. Y'know— danger. Wrong guy to ask about danger, in general.
