[ Well she is still younger than him so he could probably still see her as a kid. But still. ]

She helped me out in my maze. There were a bunch of monsters and she helped me fight some of them.

[ It's why she was having a hard time thinking that she hadn't cared. Even if she hadn't known Horse well, she had still come to help. She wouldn't do that if she was just willing to leave them behind after finding a way home, would she? ]

Yeah, it was pretty tough. I was lucky she found me when she did.

I guess it's hard to say since we can't ask her. And maybe it doesn't really matter since she's not here, but

[ She leaves it there because she doesn't even really know what she wants to say. She wants to give Horse the benefit of the doubt, but was that important anymore? ]

Hey, it sounds like you guys had a good bond! If you wanna remember her well because of that, there's nothing wrong with that.

I mean, it's not like we can confirm she intentionally left without telling us either. So who knows?

[In other words, while he has nothing but hate for this horse, he isn't going to stomp on other people from wanting to see her as a friend. He's seen people befriend people he hates much more, tbh]

I'm not sure I can say we had a "good" bond. I guess it just wasn't a bad one. I just would have liked to have gotten to know her better, maybe.

But yeah, I guess we can never know for sure now.

[ She would still like to believe in Horse though, even if she wasn't coming back. ]
