Oh, it was SUPER awkward. My only ability so to speak wasn't even some OP cheat ability, it was just being a generally sensible person. And when fights break out? Yikes!

All I've learned is that I'm great at theory and at following recipes. And I already knew the latter part.

as someone who got common sensed at by my best friend, i can confirm having common sense is the worst ability judging by the faces katie's pulled at some of my ideas

ooooooo you're a cook? that's the coolest thing! i'm okay at it but the household budget's always gone more toward dad's dumb projects so i almost never have enough ingredients

I figure it can always be worse but yeah I am 99.9% sure the NRC headmaster was bsing when he told me I had this 'beast taming' ability. Especially considering he followed it up by describing it as mediocrity.

I'm not amazing at it, but I've spent enough time home alone that I got pretty competent at it! A couple of my friends liked it well enough, at least.

hmmm, well, even though i'm not the best at cooking, i can assure you i am a GREAT baker! i made an entire three-layer sponge cake with frosting and strawberries over the course of one morning! maybe we could swap tips?

ham's this weird dog i found in the REALLY BIG PARK i stumbled into while i was wandering around. i tried to get a treat for her from the busted vending machine in the middle of the rest station there and thought that i got one of those, like, peanut butter ball things, so i tossed it at her and she went??? inside???

afterward a bunch of concerned guys in hazmat suits had a bunch of questions for me but they let me keep her. i named her ham!

here she is!!!!! i know she looks weird but isn't she a cutie? i'm trying to figure out what kind of breed she is but i'm not having a lot of luck

Makes me think I should get a cat or something, the apartment's a little lonely.

you gotta be sure you're capable of taking care of a pet before you get one! i worked at a pet shelter and unqualified people walked in all the time!

[Not that stopped her or Eliza from (occasionally literally) tossing puppies at people because they were just too adorable, but it's still an important lesson!]
