Kinich reporting in. Albarea should've sent over my contract details, but he said there might be a delay.
I've been briefed on some of the mission details. However, I'd like to hear it directly if anyone has time. I've heard that Kaisou is unusually active, and that the love potion mission wasn't typical.
[... Right, some people in this team might not know him.]
For those who don't know me, I'm Iktan Kinich Mendoza Franco, a senior Guardian and technically retired military. Just call me Kinich. You may notice that I act... out of character at times. That would be the entity possessing me, Junjaw. Please pay him no mind. If you would rather avoid him, simply text me. He hasn't figured out how to do that in all this time, and I don't care to educate him on the matter.
[There's some angry reptile screaming in his head for that, but Kinich simply ignores him.]

Given your contract price at the time and Junjaw's general personality, I asked the Order to compensate for the damage done to my body in the case of an altercation, which was my hazard pay rate. In addition, it was also a good way to keep you both in check so long as I didn't do anything to upset the balance.
However, since you no longer have that contract price, I'm under no obligation to hold back if you provoke or are provoked by Junjaw. So, if you want it to be the way it was, then you have to pay my normal rate and my hazard pay rate. It's not an Order matter, but a personal one at that point, which is why you will be charged instead.

As for the love potion mission... I'll leave the full report to someone who knows more about what is and isn't typical, but the potion was shipped here from somewhere else, and all we got from some of the folks selling is it was devised by someone they only called "H". We, uh, didn't get much more before one of them chugged a different potion and became a berserk flame bear of unusual size.
And uh, analysis of the potion turned up some disturbing results, namely traces of divine energy.

Is that so? That is disturbing.
[Divine energy? In a love potion? What kind of bored as fuck deity would wanna bother with THAT?]
Not many leads on this case, then. They wanted to protect their supplier at all costs from the sounds of it, at least from the perspective of those in charge of the sellers in question.

[ Caring for the team means looking after fellow possessed too. ]
Regarding the potion... Most of the components are typical of a love potion (dryad heart, traces of organic material and basil not withstanding depending on who you ask) but the main concern is the traces of divinity found in it. It was shipped from an outside source named 'H' but at the moment we have no further leads beyond that. Another concern is the almost addictive properties of it, along with how detached the victims were - rambling at times, or if they had monster features, would act far more aggressive.
I'm monitoring things in the Underground at the moment in the event something similar appears, I doubt this will be the last time we hear of this 'H' person.

[Thera's probably going to have several litters of kittens because of Junjaw's antics.]
I see... that's certainly not typical from what I've heard of on the market. This might be new. Obviously, we'll need more leads in order to truly get a grasp of the scope and magnitude we're working with. Or it might be a one-off, failed experiment.
no subject
[ She really is... Maybe she should ask for a raise between dealing with both Childe and Junjaw. ]
No, it's certainly not. And even if it's a failed experiment, there's no guarantee they won't try again with something more potent - the antidotes provided to the victims had a much more delayed effect. Plus they have a way to access divine energy.
Hopefully we'll find more leads before something similar or worse is rolled out.
no subject
Concerning. That might be the divine energy at work, but I'm not an expert. The military branch I was part of trained us on how to identify illicit drugs and other procedures in dealing with them, including extraction from hostile civilians. So any guesses I have are just that: guesses.
We'll see. I doubt we'll find traces of them for a little while after the raid. The news most certainly made its way back to the producer. So they will exercise caution for the time being if they're wise.
