Cygnus Academy
So someone (read: the Professor) decided it was a good idea to corner Waver Velvet and August Villareal, a tired isekai'd mage from the Fate universe and a local half-demon tailor witch, to take over what was once the ENKI building and turn into an actual place of education. Why the hell did anyone think this was a good idea?
The retooled Cygnus Academy serves a wide-ranging purpose, offering courses on a manifold of skills and abilities. From the magical to mundane, academic to life skills, whatever the residents of Kaisou are capable and willing to teach is offered. Additionally, POKEGO inhabits a wing where they offer their PICHU program instructing in safety and exploration skills for Spirit Realm journeys as well as training courses for the organization itself.

Administration
A (short) list of the ones in charge of Cygnus Academy
Waver Velvet
A reluctant aristocrat with actual teaching credentials, Waver is an isekai from a realm of cutthroat mages and a little prickly as a result. The only patience he has seems reserved for his students (most of the time) and he is extremely invested in ensuring their success. An expert in quickly understanding magical concepts and harboring a wide range of knowledge from alchemy to mythology, he teaches Modern Magecraft Theory as a harsh but fair instructor. Just as long as you remember to get his name right.
Vergil Vittore
Antiquarian and History fanatic who normally hermits himself away to do the clerical work, filling the shoes of August once said nephew moved on to different projects. Has a degree and is able to sub in to teach classes if needed, but prefers for now to stick to the number monkey work and doing things for the school that do not require him to have a presence in front of students or other teachers.
Professor Barbie (and Ken)
A (supposed) professor of physics from the Barbie Spirit Realm that’s kindly filling in for the (fuzzy) Professor while he’s on sabbatical. While no one’s entirely sure how she (and her questionably useful assistant Ken) ended up at the school she’s giving her work in education all she’s got! And Ken? Well, he’s just Ken.
Classes
Cygnus Academy and POKEGO both have come together to offer many different classes. For a list (or to add your own!), see here
The PICHU Program
PICHU, or People's Initiative of Clarifying Hermetical Understanding, is an outreach program founded by Kaisou's POKEGO members to foster goodwill and reestablish community ties after the Willow incident. Not only are some of the POKEGO members offering classes, but they have also established some additional facilities to better aid with POKEGO-led research. These facilities are open to staff and students who are registered with PICHU or involved in their activities.
POKEGO also sent a few (NPC) Professors to help things run more smoothly. Rowan oversees the research library, Juniper is investigating the Spirit Realm contamination, and Sycamore is pursuing research on the monster transformations.
PICHU's budget is rather barebones at the moment, but with money and effort the facilities can be upgraded. Of note is the Pokemon Daycare Room, the POKEGO Research Library, the computer lab, study hall, the mental wellness room, and the photography lab.

Funding
A zebra centaur absolutely no educational background at all. Zulius is the academy's funder, who's vast amount of green keeps the place from going belly-up every time someone causes accidental property damage during a lecture. He teaches no classes in the academy but can sometimes be seen clopping around the halls, checking up on the "fabulousness" of the place. He will never actually explain what the fabulous barometer is nor how he measures it. He just likes to remind people they should be grateful he exists.

ARCUS: A general overview of basic functions, with a strange focus on using exceptional caution in equipping the correct quartz and not confusing it with anything that may look similar. Questions in detail get referred to Ash Cabott (
Soul Devices: Similar to the above, with a similar focus on what not to equip under any circumstances or you will explode. Oddly specific on that last point. Detailed questions get one referred to Shio Takahata (

Teacher: Dan Heng

These classes will get into the basics of what makes up these creatures' genetic makeup, cellular structure, taxonomy, how they're classified, and an overview of how they affect the ecosystem.
Introduction to the Theories of Modern Magic is an introductory course that's designed to give an explanation of the elemental magic system, and the theories that are behind the origins of the elements. It will also get into what each element is theorized to symbolize and why or how certain abilities are categorized as universal or specific to a certain element. The class is meant to be the foundation for any further studies into this topic or to just get the fundamentals on a magic system they may be unfamiliar with.
