Don't we all? I'd feel like I need to step up my game to compensate, but I'm not giving anyone the satisfaction at the potlucks. The patatas bravas and brownies are as good as people at large are getting from me.

[Friends and other people Rika likes well enough are a different story. She'll happily go the extra mile for them--and in some cases, it very well could be necessary.]

Sorry you got pulled into this at what might be the worst possible time, by the way, but hey, more hands on deck can't be a bad thing.

I did notice it was a trying time. Hard not to after I had to get past armed guards at my own workplace. So the Black Order’s making a move again?

Boy is it. Given everything that's happened already, folks on the app are chomping at the bit to take the fight to the Order. Can't blame 'em and I admire the enthusiasm, even if I'm griping about the unpaid overtime on this end.

I won’t lie, I’m also looking forward to taking the fight to the Order as well. After the fifth time you have to explain to an overzealous guard that the dangerous materials in your bag are meant for R&D, you start to feel a little spiteful at the root cause of the whole mess.

Man, yeah, that sounds like a gigantic pain. I'm probably not heading in there myself, so more power to you for being willing. I'm probably gonna see if any folks doing some patching up need extra hands or someone to do supply runs, myself.
