Hm...you know, I hadn't thought much about it, what with the revenge compulsion making the decision for me. I suppose it's obvious in hindsight that administration was rather on the way out, so to speak. I would have had to pick a side sooner or later, and I'm quite in favor of 'whichever side doesn't permanently imprison their inconveniences and dirty little secrets'.

I'll certainly agree with that. Those imprisoned unjustly or corruption thought to be buried will always find its way to the surface in the end. That much has been more than proven.
