I mean, it was okay? It was the 70s so it was what it was. But it was something to do when I was waiting for my folks to finish work so we could eat. Watch the 80s one but then shit got busy with the Order so I didn't get to see much else after that.

Underneath the vehicle to sell toys, Gundam has always been a thinly-veiled criticism of war and imperialism. I think you'll find that it's only gotten better with age. The series has split since its inception so there are quite a few stand alone stories as well as the 'main' timeline. It's really not that complicated when you see it laid out, but if you need recommendations, I can give you some.
