Canon Personality: Headstrong, stubborn, and battle crazed. Enjoys fighting, especially against those he deems strong. Draws out battles to savor them, often complimenting his opponents strong attacks and techniques. Looks down on anyone that he deems weak, to the point that his skin crawls at the sight of them. Will often present those he deems strong with the option to become demons during their fights, as to have stronger opponents. Understands that people get stronger, and will not hold someone he deemed weak in that light if they show themselves to have become stronger. He’ll battle and enjoy fighting against them. Hates anything that reminds him that he was human, and will strongly react negatively towards anyone who reminds him of that.

AU History: Haku was adopted to Texas ranchers when he was a baby, he has no knowledge of his birth parents except for the fact that they were Japanese. His parents were Texas ranchers and barbeque owners. When he turned 18 he tried to find his real parents, feeling a disconnect between his parents and himself, he decided to go to Japan to see if he could find anything out from the adoption agency.
Once he arrived in Japan he went to the address that was last listed for the adoption agency, but it was long closed and no one had any information on if they had moved or where their records were kept. After a few weeks of trying to find information out he called it what it was, a lost cause, and moved on. He decided to come back to America, but being afraid to face his parents after their fight and his running to Japan, he decided to settle in Kaisou.
As he no longer has any money, spending it all on plane tickets, he decided to do the only thing he knows how, and work as a chef in a steakhouse in Kaisou turning out steak after steak.
Until for some reason unknown to him, he developed a taste almost overnight for rare steak. Almost like the cow is still mooing rare, and glowing yellow eyes.
AU Personality Differences: He doesn’t have the same level of abandonment issues that his canon self does. He has some, but since he did grow up with loving parents he doesn’t want to fight the whole world. He is still willing to throw down with just about anyone, however his fights now are over who makes better food than who can punch harder.
