Hello! I edited the section. I hope this works, but if it doesn't, let me know whatever you need for me to edit.
Morgan was born to a relatively normal middle class family in the midwest. He isn't from Kaisou, but the town he's from isn't especially different, once you take out all of the supernatural elements. He had a remarkably uneventful childhood, and both of his parents were wholly invested in his education.
Not that they particularly needed to be. In the maths and the sciences, Morgan excelled. They hired every tutor they could, but he would quickly surpass all of them. It didn't appear to be an issue, until Morgan got to middle school. It turns out, a precocious child and a curriculum that isn't challenging enough for them don't mix together particularly well, and it wasn't long before 'incidents' started occurring at the school. Thankfully, no one was ever injured, and while no serious damage was done, he did cost the science department several thousand dollars.
As destructive as he was, things didn't kick into high gear until the "incident." Near the end of middle school, Morgan was on a mathletes trip to Florida when the bus was hijacked. As smart as he was, he was completely overwhelmed, until something clicked in his head. Before he knew it, he was barking orders to his classmates, and organizing a resistance. Him and his classmates made it through the incident, and in the following days, Morgan credited his victory to the "memories that he saw." He told some reporters about how, during the incident, he was flooded with memories of another place.
When he returned, his parents saw his penchant for tactics, and endorsed his love of chess and other strategy games. After the memories began to come back though, this wasn't enough. Morgan wanted something more, he desperately searched for anything he could find about the "Ylisse" he saw in his dreams. His relentless posts online about seeing memories of another life and questions about reincarnation, coupled with the previous hijacking incident, got the Black Order's attention. They approached Morgan's parents about an "educational opportunity." Not seeing the down sides, Morgan's parents readily agreed.
