Animals also love him. Abasi, meanwhile, has knowledge of Pokemon so he has a better chance of knowing what they would like and wouldn't like fabric-wise (don't put a mareep in its own wool, ok). Abasi also has his own Pokemon he could bring, to help distract or pacify the baby Pokemon. Anything else?: Kaveh is absolutely here to help the baby Pokemon because it's the right thing to do, whether he gets anything from helping or not. (He could definitely USE the money, but odds are he might just tell them to keep it if he feels the wildlife rehabilitation center needs the funding more than he does). Abasi is here because he's POKEGO, also because Kaveh insisted on going and Abasi felt obligated to babysit him. (Abasi also just likes Pokemon, but you didn't hear that from me.) If things go badly, their tendency to bicker (in public) could be a contributing factor.
