Danny and Varian are not a bad team, but their detective skills could use some work. The riddles prove to be a little too esoteric, that or there has been some sabotage by others along the way, with things not where they are expected to be. They have some stiff competition, too: a team of tenacious thirteen year olds keep beating them to the next clue and making fun of them on TikTok. Along the way they have to contend with buckets of wet concrete falling from the sky, mud pits, grassy paths littered with dog poop bombs, a random roving band of silly string-squirting miscreants, and a guy with fart spray in an elevator (?). In the end it's a keen nose that leads them to the hiding place of the medallion, nestled near to a bakery and just waiting to be picked up. However, they set their eyes on it at the same time as another team (who are all unable to speak outside of rhyme) and end up having to race for it. Danny's ghost powers and Varian's ingenuity come in clutch and they're able to secure the prize; however, the rather large family that had been cheering on the other team becomes angry and gives chase, intending to steal the medallion for themselves or die trying. Eventually the Stone family gives up trying to find them and goes home, but They'll Remember This (Telltale style), as their winning streak ended with this unlikely loss.

For their efforts, Danny and Varian receive $1000 to be split between them however they see fit, as well as a memorial patch of a snowman with a spyglass to commemorate the event. Also, the next time they head to Blue Fish Park, they might get food or empty cans thrown at them from the still-resentful Stone family. Seems like the grudge runs deep. They will not be inviting either of the boys to their annual barbecue, seems like.
