Luffy's luck and skill in foraging help the Swinnub locate plenty of mushrooms. The pokemon is pretty pleased with itself, and it doesn't take long before it's really getting into the swing of finding all kinds of delicious mushrooms. It's just unfortunate that Luffy chooses to eat so many, because while he managed to fulfil the brief- eating most of the evidence of his toil means the researcher at P.O.K.E.G.O is less than thrilled with the result.

For his success, Luffy gets $50. He doesn't bring enough mushrooms back to make a stew with, and given he's been feeding the Swinub too, the rehabilitation centre is rather disappointed as the point was to get the little guy to forage and not expect to eat half of what they're looking for- Luffy ended up being a detriment to the little guy's training and the researcher advises they will have to undo what Luffy has taught it. While the Swinub will be delighted to see Luffy again in the future, P.O.K.E.G.O members will be considerably less so.
