Jun and Minato manage, by some luck, to sneak into the cave. They do a pretty good job of attacking the monster- it's touch and go for a bit but they do eventually bring it down without destroying the cake. When it comes to bringing the cake back out of the cave, however- that's a much trickier task. They only have the cake stand to hold it on, and with all the uneven ground in the cave, it's natural that their fingers might squish into it a bit. Maybe just licking their fingers clean is fine, it's not like they're eating the cake, right? But it does taste so good, and the chocolate smell wafts through the air like a siren call. Maybe...just a little bite?

For their (bearly passing) success, they get $100 each. They also get a bottle of chocolate wine between them- but they'll find the bottom of the bottle is cracked and the stuff keeps oozing out. If they ate the cake before they got it to the surface, they will be cursed to only speak in limericks for the next 24 hours. Avery will also tell them they can never come into his shop again for harming his precious. He's kinda weird and hissy about it honestly- what a drama queen. It's not like you dropped it in a volcano or anything.
