Cale did his best but it was unfortunately not good enough. From the moment he steps into the shop, it goes badly. His possession sets off all the animals, as they hiss and spit and make an awful racket. This means there are ALWAYS eyes on him for most of his time him the shop. He manages to make it so no one notices him if he gets into a quiet aisle of the shop- but as he's wandering around a small winged cat bounces off his head- creating quite a ruckus and immediately unmasking his ruse. Mrs. Fluffluffer immediately kicks him out for "disrupting her little darlings" and bans him from stepping back inside. She is not moved by his parentage and in fact, accuses him of trying to make this "a class thing."

For his failure, he receives a pet rock. Sometimes it seems to move when he's out of the room. The SPETA representative gently advises him that maybe this isn't the line of work he should go into and maybe he should just get a nice desk job instead. He isn't banned from working for them ever again, but it's firmly suggested he shouldn't bother again.
