I was originally born in Germany, but then my stepmother and I moved to France, then Switzerland, then Italy, and then up to England, then here to America!

Oh, Germany is lovely! So much modern technology mixed with the architecture of the past. Some places look right out of a fairytale book! And there are all sorts of museums! And the food is delicious! I believe the American expression is "sticks to your ribs?"

Well, even my mother thinks I'm a very good cook. I'm especially fond of baking.

Oh! Perhaps we should trade baked goods! I make a mean pie, myself!

But I really love to bake and cook everything! Cobblers, pies, dumplings, puddings, trifles, cakes, cookies! I've been trying my hand at meringue lately, but there are four different types and each one has its own way of being made and is for very different types of desserts. If done correctly, I hope to be able to make a pavlova. That is my newest baking goal at the moment.
