I can understand that. Blade has a... similar condition. In our past lives, it even went so far as to deny him death. Although I know he will survive any fatal attack, for me to treat such an injury like it's nothing to worry about or, perhaps worse, to become used to seeing that and no longer hold any sort of concern for him... that feels like disrespect. Just because it heals physically doesn't mean you didn't experience that pain, right?

I suppose I'm trying to say that I would rather be unnecessarily worried about you than make you feel as though I don't care that you came back from what should have been a fatal or near fatal strike. Or make you feel that your pain doesn't matter to me.
