Secret Log: Purgatory

Congrats on your untimely death! After you die, you will awaken in a very drab waiting room. The only other people in the waiting area seems to be the others who also died back at the cabin. On the wall, there is a sign that reads: Welcome to Purgatory! Please take a number and wait while your soul is processed for its next destination. Thank you. Sure enough, under the sign there is one of those old number ticket machines.

From there, there is nothing to do but... wait! There are plenty of old chairs to sit in (some are even comfortable), along with stacks of magazines that are all discontinued. If you get hungry, there is a cabinet and fridge that is full of various discontinued snacks and drinks. Fancy yourself a New Coke or Pepsi Blue?

Finally, there is an old fashioned tv and antennae. You can use this either to watch some cancelled shows or watch a feed of what's going on back at the cabin. You'll have to deal with adjusting the antenna regularly and bad reception though.

That's about it for purgatory though! Enjoy your stay.

[ that is certainly one way to get remembered, eizen won't be forgetting the guy who threw a tantrum after dying anytime soon. providing they ever make it out of here. he can only assume this isn't the end, that there is something else after the cabin and this mediocre room - they wouldn't be here otherwise.

The room could do with a few holes, might give it more character. As for your hands? Well, you've already died. A couple of bloodied knuckles is nothing in comparison.

[He flexes his hands, considering. He'd hate to leave any obvious scars on his hands, but... he wears gloves enough anyway.

He chafes a little at having someone tell him what to do, but... he does just go ahead and. Punch a wall.]

[ the answer is very likely no. none of them would feel any better after what they have been through. no matter which way you look at it the whole thing sucked, and instead of whatever afterlife they may or may not believe in they're what? left in some shitty waiting room with a tv seemingly designed specifically to allow them to watch the rest of their group go through hell? it's fucked. ]

[Actually, he does feel a touch better. It's probably not healthy that causing property damage helps with his mental health. But that's a problem for... not right now.]

At this rate, maybe I can tear a way out of this place.
