Canon Personality: Ok, look. He’s a fucking asshat. This is the basic point you should get from all of this. He doesn’t do people. Figuratively or Literally. Anyway. He’s a scholar. His biggest pursuit is the pursuit of knowledge. He doesn’t like distractions, he wears his headphones to block out noise… and people talking to him, I’m sure. He’s not ambitious, he doesn’t want a position of authority… They give him one in game and he doesn’t really want it for long. He focuses on himself, and follows the notion that it’s impossible to save everyone and you should focus on yourself first. Everyone has equal weight to him, be human or god. And he doesn’t tend to correct assumptions about himself unless it’s going to be problematic to let people keep thinking that way.
Basically… he’s that logical guy you met in college that rubbed you the wrong way, but that never actually pissed you totally off. Unless he was your roommate.
AU Name: Abasi al-Haytham (aka Professor Dracaena aka Professor Cactus) AU Birthday: February 11 Faction: Gotta catch em all, POKEGO
AU History: Abasi was raised by his grandmother after his parents died in a ‘mysterious incident’. His grandmother was a scholarly woman, but also had her run ins with the spirit realm, and didn’t keep that a secret from her grandson. He continued to attend school, but also spent a lot of time studying with his grandmother what they don’t teach you in schools. This caused problems with his social growth, because man, it’s not fun to talk to normies when you know the truth about the world. He went to college, and was soon recruited by POKEGO to join them when he was finished with his degrees. He technically has enough credits and time ‘served’ to have a PhD at this point, but he won’t finish it off. Too much effort, too much responsibility. So, he joins POKEGO since it seems they will let him study what he wants on his time and leave him alone. I figure he’s sent to Kaisou to try and keep track of the Willow fallout, but that’s easily changed. He ended up there. And now swaps between doing his research for POKEGO and teaching a class here and there at the university (probably to keep research privileges.)
He’s had flashes of his previous life in Teyvat, but nothing too revealing… Mostly flashes of faces, and he knows of ‘canned knowledge’ a bit of an idea of what Sumeru looks like due to blips and flashbacks.
AU Personality Differences: Not really. Besides more frustration towards traffic because cars don’t exist in Teyvat (so far)
Element: Shadow
Purchased Powers: 1 extra Pokemon: Budew (-2 pts); Perfect Night Vision (-3 pts); Medium telekinesis (-2 pts) Total used: 7 pts.
