When I say stranded, I mean completely left behind, initially with an adult and then ultimately through tragic events left alone from there. The age at that point would be quite young- young enough that most things like names, birthdates, so on, had to be assumed- the App point would obviously be a good bit up from that, I was thinking 15 instead of the character's canon age (which is younger). Their mindset in canon gives me enough wiggle room to comfortably do this.

In terms of where exactly in the Spirit Realm it is that they would have been stranded, I don't have a set location so much as a set list of points to build a location around. This is part of why I wanted to know if even being in this situation at all was viable to begin with- if it is, then I workshop the location itself from there. If not, I haven't put all that time and energy into a location that'll never see the light of day.

That aside.

The canon version of this character is very much defined by having been incredibly isolated, while also being incredibly intelligent. Everything they learned, it came largely from books that they had to interpret on their own. Despite this, this character is not only the most reliable in the cast, but the most level headed and arguably well adjusted. And the cast is...a lot older than that kid.

Being honest, I do have an idea for an AU that lines up closer to canon, but after discussing it with a friend they felt that the canon scenario (growing up in pocket rooms hidden within an adult prison) would be far too unsettling for other players, and that if anything a section in the spirit realm was a better option.

(Honestly if that immediately brought up a Better option that's neither of those two things, I'll gladly consider it though, especially if both of the above feel too clunky or difficult to work into things.)
