Given that my life previous to being ... adopted by the Black Order, I was an actor of small renown, I figured working part-time in some stage plays would be a bit of nostalgia and comfort I've been missing, lately.

Given most of the people employed there ARE app users, I figured I'd be safe.

But you're right. It did get messed up for a while. The owner managed to fix it up, though. Money talks pretty loudly.

'What went down last year'? Was this previous to my arrival in the city, or...?

...Also, I didn't know recruitment was optional. Given my own case. I just figured the people in Kaisou were special given the state of the spirit vein here.
Otherwise I'd have expected half of the people would have been recruited 'one way or another'.

It was before you arrived. To make a long story as short as I can, we had not been informed of certain aspects of the Metaverse app. Myself, Takame Kesi, Waver Velvet, and an innocent bystander became trapped in places not dissimilar to the Labyrinths. The Order was not going to send Guardians to aid in any rescue attempts since the immortality peach was more important. Rather, it was up to the Libra users to quickly launch any rescue attempts. Had they not succeeded, we would have perished by the hands of a "shadow" of ourselves. Aspects and feelings that we didn't wish to confront or accept as part of who we were.

To put it bluntly, the reason we didn't recruit them until now was because they are ostensibly protected by Zodiac through the Libra app. Once the app is off their phones, they either return to how they were prior to the app's installation or they might disappear if they were from a different world. Some, like Amal, stay in Kaisou permanently instead. We're unsure what causes this phenomenon, but I imagine that POKEGO is more interested in investigating it.

Indeed. The Order's stance on the mission being more paramount than the lives of the volunteers was unpopular, to put it mildly.

It certainly was, and I can't blame a single soul for viewing The Order poorly afterwards. I have no intention of making the same mistakes from back then, either.

As a Guardian of The Black Order, I think we're more than qualified to say that even we wouldn't fight Santa Claus. We're not quite that mentally unwell.

... Well. Most of us aren't. There's a certain 1% who might at least think about it.

[Jusis absolutely agrees with Jinwoo's assessment, which is why he doesn't have high hopes of voluntary recruitment. It's why he's never bothered with recruitment in the past, too.]

The Order has always put the mission above individual lives. That being said, I have personally worked to balance the two as equally important.

However, anything more to be said about the incident should not be done here.

And... as for that. I'll apologise in advance. We very much have been wanting a healer, and while I promise I won't try to take advantage of your skills too much, I feel you deserve to know I'm.

I'm a bit. Prone to needing healing a lot more than most people.
